THE GROWTH OF GROSS AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTION TO 320 BILLION RUBLES EXPECTED IN TATARSTAN

Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustem Gainullov shared the forecast for the republic’s agro-industrial complex till the end of the year. Gross production is expected to reach 320 billion rubles, up 20 billion on last year. A new level of exports has also been achieved — Tatarstan has expanded its sales geography to 17 new countries. About $400 million of goods were exported to 52 countries during the first 10 months of the year. In particular, supplies to China amounted to $31 million during this period. The Deputy Minister also said that according to the forecasts, the annual figures would exceed the last year’s level of $40 million. Production and export volumes are planned to be kept growing in future too.
