A CHAIN OF AGRICUTURAL METEOROLOGICAL STATIONS LAUNCHED IN TATARSTAN

Tatarstan has started the implementation of a pilot project to build a chain of meteorological stations. The agricultural monitoring system will ensure the accuracy of weather forecasts and allow a more effective planning of seasonal work in agriculture. For today, meteorological stations have been mounted in 25 municipal districts of Tatarstan. Every device is equipped with sensors for collecting data on air temperature, wind speed and direction, atmospheric pressure, amount of precipitation, as well as UV index. Meteorological equipment has all the necessary licenses. Instruments help to obtain a weather forecast for several days ahead within the accuracy of up to 95%.
