A COW FROM TATARSTAN ACKNOWLEDGED AS THE MOST PRODUCTIVE HOLSTEIN IN RUSSIA

A cow named Esther from August-Muslyum farm firm managed to take the first place in Top 10 Lactating Cows ranking, compiled by the Association of Holstein Cattle Producers. At the end of 2025, the yearly milk yield of the top performer cow reached 23.8 tonnes of milk (fat content is 2. 92%, protein content is 3.22%). Average daily cow productivity exceeded 80 litres, and the highest figure was 109 litres per day. The cow gave almost 84 tonnes of milk to the enterprise for all the time of its economic use, starting from the first calving. The top performer cow has been managed in Urazmetyevo commercial dairy farm since 2021. Nowadays, it is 6 years and 10 months old. It gave birth to five bull-calves, and one of them, named Senpai, became a good representative in the herd of elite stud bulls in Elita Breeding Enterprise.
