ALMOST ALL MACHINERY IN TATARSTAN PREPARED FOR FIELD WORK

Preparation to spring field works was discussed at the meeting in the House of Government of Tatarstan. As the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan – the minister of agriculture and food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov pointed out, low nighttime temperatures are for now holding the rapid melting of snow, the thickness of which reaches 70 cm in some places of fields. 65% of 550 thousand hectares of winter crops started winter in good and satisfactory condition.
The availability of grain, pulses, and cereal crop seeds in the region is sufficient and is 126%, for sugar beet seeds it is 98%, for sunflower seeds 73%, for maize seeds 81%. The operational readiness of tractors is 97%, that of seeders is 99%, of sowing machines it is 91%, and of cultivators it is 99%.
The procedure of accepting farms for spring field works will be carried out from the 1st till the 12th of April.
