AVIATION TO BE USED FOR LOCUSTS CONTROL IN 17 REGIONS OF RUSSIA

Ministry of Agriculture is preparing to the growth of locust number in summer 2025 and is providing 8.3 tonnes of Imidor insecticide to treat 110 thousand ha. Planes and helicopters will be used in extreme circumstances, and ground machinery will be engaged in local pest control. Farmers continue the monitoring, to minimize yield losses.
