BASHKIRIA HAS EXPORTED MORE THAN 60 TONNES OF HONEY SINCE THE BEGINNING OF THE YEAR

Bashkiria has exported more than 60 tonnes of honey since the beginning of 2026, according to the press service of the region’s Ministry of Agriculture. So, for example, the republic has shipped about 20 tonnes of honey to Serbia recently. Three lots of floral honey packed in 200-litre containers were examined by the specialists of the veterinary inspection department at the State Border of the Russian Federation. Laboratory examinations of export honey were also carried out. 103.7 tonnes of honey were exported from Bashkortostan in 2025, almost four times as much as a year before. In total, the production of commercial honey at all farm categories amounted to more than 5,600 tonnes last season, up 12.2% on 2024. It was reported earlier that the volume of agricultural exports had exceeded 132,000 tonnes in Bashkiria. The volume of supplies has grown by 26.6% by 5 April compared to the same period of last year. At that time, 104,600 tonnes of the product were sent abroad.
