CABINET OF MINISTERS TO PRESERVE SUPPORT FOR INCREASING THE AVAILABILITY OF FARM MACHINERY

Russian Government will preserve support measures to increase the availability of farm machinery in domestic market. Two of these measures are connected with granting benefits to agricultural producers. One of them is preferential finance lease. It provides for granting the most popular types of domestic farm machinery by Rosagroleasing company at a discount of 8-12%. Other advantages are the absence of advance payment and of guarantee requirements. One more mechanism is preferential lending. In the current year, purchase of machinery is included into the list of priority areas of preferential investment lending, the preferential rate of which is up to 6.8%. The Government also told about other support mechanisms which would be implemented this year. In particular, there were reports in February about plans to launch a chain of machine and technological companies in the country with the support of Rosagroleasing.
