CHINA SETS A RECORD IN THE IMPORTS OF THE RUSSIAN CORN IN 2025

According to the results of last year, China purchased the record volume of corn from Russia, 444 thousand tonnes. This is also 2.9 times more than during the previous year. In monetary terms, Russia’s exports of grain amounted to 107.6 million dollars. Russia also reached historically high levels in the exports of two more crops. The imports of buckwheat amounted to 255.1 thousand tonnes, up 11.5% on a year earlier. In monetary terms, exports amounted to $68.2 million. Oats also became one of the “record-holders” – 238.9 thousand tonnes (+5%) worth $54.5 million.
