COTTAGE CHEESE PRODUCTION IN RUSSIA INCREASES BY 8.9%

This is stated in the report of Milknews analytical centre. 65.2 thousand tons of cottage cheese and cottage cheese products were produced in Russia in January 2024, which is 8.9% more than in January 2023.
At the same time, the consumption of cottage cheese and cottage cheese products was 785.3 thousand tons last year (+6.4%). The stock of products at milk processing plants rose by 20% to 6.4 thousand tons by the end of January 2024.
