CREDIT LIMITS INCREASED FOR DAIRY FARMING

Russian Ministry of Agriculture increased the maximum amounts of reduced-rate lending of dairy farming in eight regions of the country. The biggest increase of support limits was for Tomsk Region – from 75 to 275 million rubles. Volgograd Region was the second in terms of increase – to 450 million. Lending limit doubled for three constituent territories –to 600 million for Belgorod Region and 300 million for Vladimir Region, as well as to 200 million for Leningrad Region. In Chelyabinsk Region, the limit increased to 500 million, in Kursk and Rostov Regions it grew to 400 million. It had been reported earlier that subsidies for short term credits for dairy farming were to amount to 5 billion rubles in the current year, and those for investment credits were to be 4 billion rubles.
