DAGESTAN’S LARGEST FRUIT CROPS NURSERY DEVELOPING EXPORTS TO UZBEKISTAN

The fruit nursery of Oruskhanov peasant farm enterprise of Khasavyurt District delivered its first lot of high quality sweet cherry seedlings to Uzbekistan. According to Saidulla Oruskhanov, the head of the farm and the general director of the Gardeners Union of Dagestan, Uzbek partners have already received about 5.7 thousand seedlings and intend to buy additional volumes in 2026. There is the largest nursery of fruit crops in the northern part of the republic at the premises of Oruskhanov peasant farm enterprise. Its territory covers more than 50 hectares, and about 350 thousand seedlings of sweet cherry, plum, and a number of other crops are grown here annually. The plans of the farm include bringing the production of seedlings to 700 thousand pieces in 2027.
