EXPORT DUTIES FOR WHEAT, CORN, AND BARLEY TO BE ZERO FROM 10 DECEMBER

Duties for the export of wheat, corn, and barley from Russia will be zero from 10 to 16 December, as it follows from the data of the Russian Ministry of Agriculture. The export duty rate for wheat and meslin is calculated on the basis of the indicative price of 226.1 dollars per tonne, for barley – 213.6 dollars, for corn – 208.5 dollars per tonne. The duty for the export of wheat from Russia, valid from 3 to 9 December, is 8.9 rubles per tonne, that of corn and barley – 0 rubles per tonne. Russia uses flexible export duty for wheat, corn, and barley, which is valid as part of the grain damper mechanism. Calculations are made on the basis of the price of exchange-listed export contracts and arithmetic-mean dollar to ruble rate of the Bank of Russia five working days before the calculation date.
