FARMERS OF KUBAN MAKE 142 APPLICATIONS TO CONVERT LAND TO THAT OF AGROTOURISTIC USE

The farmers and agricultural organizations of Krasnodar Territory submitted 142 applications to include their lands into the list of the Russian Ministry of Agriculture for their conversion to those of touristic use for the development of the rural tourism. This was reported by Stanislav Sankeyev, the executive director of People’s Farmer association. The association has been an additional communication channel for collecting the applications of agrarians. The applications filed will be used during the further work over the federal law, for simplifying the procedure of converting agricultural lands to other categories for rendering agricultural tourism services. Applications were collected till 25 February. The implementation of the projects of rural tourism would be impossible on land plots which are not included into the list before the adoption of the federal law and turn out to be in the status of agricultural lands, the Association’s letter said at the start of collecting applications at the beginning of 2026.
