FISH TURNOVER BETWEEN RUSSIA AND VIETNAM GROWS BY 10% IN WEIGHT DURING A YEAR

The turnover of fish products between Russia and Vietnam has grown (YoY) by 10% in weight and reduced by 5% in money, to 70 thousand tonnes in the amount of 330 million dollars in 2025. Exports of the Russian fish products to Vietnam reduced by 40% in weight, but remained at the level of 2024 in value terms – 7 thousand tonnes in the amount of 115 million dollars. Crabs and Far Eastern salmonids are mainly delivered from Russia. As far as import is concerned, Russia mainly imports the fillets of tuna, pangasius, and tilapia, dried and dry-cured fish, aquacultural warm-water vannamei shrimps, frozen tuna, pangasius, and tilapia from Vietnam. Imports increased by 20% by volume and reduced by 5% by value, to 63 thousand tonnes in the amount of 215 million dollars.
