FUEL PRICES FOR FIELD WORKS PLANNED TO BE HELD DOWN

Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Aleksandr Novak held a headquarters meeting on the situation in the domestic market of oil products with the participation of oil companies’ heads, representatives of the Ministry of Energy, Federal Anti-Monopoly Service of the Russian Federation, Ministry of Agriculture, Russian Railways, and Saint-Petersburg International Mercantile Exchange.
According to the Ministry of Energy, petrol and diesel fuel supplies to domestic market increased in March compared to February — by 13 thousand tons per day and 15.5 thousand tons per day respectively. Fuel supply is high: 1.9 million tons of petrol and 3.4 million tons of diesel fuel.
“The Vice Prime Minister instructed oil companies together with Russian Railways to ensure uninterrupted transportation of oil products and the utilization of oil refineries in accordance with the schedule and growing spring demand. With the beginning of the spring field works, fuel prices for growers should not exceed market indicators”, the Government of the Russian Federation said.
