GOVERNMENT TO COMPENSATE FOR UP TO 50% OF EXPENSES FOR SCIENTIFIC AND ENGINEERING PROJECTS IN AGRO-INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX

The Russian Government is planning to extend the rules of granting subsidies to agricultural producers. They want to reimburse them for up to half of their expenses for the implementation of comprehensive scientific and engineering projects from next year. The Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said this during a meeting with the vice prime ministers. Agrarians may implement such investment projects as part of the relevant federal program. According to Mishustin, more than 40 of them have been selected now. It is planned to select such projects in 15 most important areas every year. This, in particular, refers to producing new varieties and hybrids of crop plants, as well as conducting selection research in meat cattle breeding and poultry keeping.
