IN 2025, SARATOV REGION BECOMES RUSSIA’S LEADER IN AGRICULTURAL INSURANCE DEVELOPMENT

Among the largest Russia’s agrarian regions where more than a million hectares of arable land are cultivated, the most active dynamics of agricultural insurance was recorded in Saratov Region, the Republic of Tatarstan, Altai Territory, and Krasnoyarsk Territory in 2025. This was reported by the National Association of Agricultural Insurers on the basis of the preliminary data for 11 months of the current year. In Saratov Region, the growth of insured areas increased by 30% compared to the same period of the last year. Further on, the rating includes Tatarstan with the growth of 19%, Altai Territory and Kransoyarsk Territory where the growth was 14% and 7%, respectively. Saratov Region has also become one of top 15 Russia’s territorial entities in terms of the area of insured crops in January-November of the current year, which has reached 568 thousand hectares.
