KAZAN STATE AGRARIAN UNIVERSITY JOINS THE RANKS OF THE BEST AGRARIAN UNIVERSITIES OF RUSSIA

RAEX rating group has published the subject ratings of the Russian universities.  The ratings are based on the assessment of the three missions of a university – the educational one, the scientific one, and the social one by more than 20 criteria: the average score in the unified national exam of students getting state-funded and paid education, the number of massive open online courses of a university posted on the largest platforms, the number of publications indexed in RSCI during the reporting year, the amount of financing per the number of students of all modes of study, the share of postgraduate students in the total number of students, etc.
The first place in the agricultural sector of the subject rating was won by the Russian State Agrarian University – the L.A. Timiryazev Agricultural Academy of Moscow. The top-10 include the following ones: the I.T. Trubilin State Agrarian University of Kuban, Stavropol State Agrarian University, St. Petersburg State Agrarian University, Kazan State Agrarian University, the N.P. Ogaryov National Research State University of Mordovia, Saratov's N.I. Vavilov State University of Genetics, Biotechnology, and Engineering, the V.I. Vernadsky Federal University of Crimea, Don State Technical University, the P.A. Stolypin State Agrarian University of Omsk.
