MILK PRODUCTION REACHES ITS MAXIMUM IN 30 YEARS

Preliminary data shows that milk production reached 34.3 million tonnes last year, which is the highest result over the last 30 years. The increase of production enabled the full-scale loading of processing facilities, and there were positive dynamics in dairy products sector as well. Besides, the increase of production allows strengthening ties with foreign partners. From 2019 to 2024, the export earnings of dairy branch have grown by 60% and have increased by about another 13% in 2025, approximately to $500 million, Patrushev said. At the same time, the dynamics for some items were higher, for example, by 30% for ice cream exports.
