MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE APPROVES THE AGRICULTURAL INSURANCE PLAN FOR 2025

The plan for 2025 covers the insurance of harvest, aquaculture, and farm animals. Grapes, subtropical crops, as well as cyprinids, siluridae, and mussels in aquaculture have been added to insurance programs.
The areas of insured crops can reach 14 million ha, the number of farm animals can reach 13.5 million animals. The new approach decreases the rates for contracts with a franchise of over 40% and takes climate-related risks into account.
