MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE SUMS UP THE RESULTS OF THE RANKING OF THE DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION OF THE AGRO-INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX IN CENTRAL RUSSIA

A meeting was held in Kaluga devoted to the results of the ranking of the digital transformation of the agro-industrial complex in the Central Federal District (CFD). During the meeting, best digitalization practices of Central Russia regions were considered. The participants of the meeting discussed the functioning of the federal state information systems, the implementation of digital services, and personnel training. Kostroma Region, Kaluga Region, and Lipetsk Region became the leading regions of the CFD in the sphere of digitalization. The Federal District demonstrated the best result in precision farming. More than a quarter of enterprises of Central Russia are using global satellite navigation and the systems of parallel and automatic driving of agricultural machinery. The technologies of measuring chlorophyll content in plants are also in active use. The event in Kaluga was the first in the series of meetings in the federal districts, where the results of the digital transformation of the agro-industrial complex were summed up. The yearly ranking is a tool for the assessing the implementation of modern technologies in Russia regions.
