NOVOSIBIRSK REGION TO ACTIVELY IMPLEMENT NEW FERTILIZERS TO INCREASE THE PRODUCTIVITY OF AGRICULTURAL CROPS

In 2026, Novosibirsk Region is planning to actively implement new fertilizers to increase the productivity of agricultural crops. This is one of the key priority areas for the development of the region’s agro-industrial complex outlined by the Minister of Agriculture Andrei Shindelov. Other important tasks include: ramping up the volume of oil crops production, the increase of the share of domestically selected seeds, modern livestock farms construction, and fisheries industry development. Special attention is also paid to involving fallow land into turnover – state support is provided for this purpose in the amount of 11.6 million rubles. At the same time, the region is continuing its active export policy as part of the national project. An individualized plan of export activities is being developed for 2026.
