ROSSELKHOZNADZOR IMPOSES AN IMPORT BAN ON SUNFLOWER AND MAIZE SEEDS

The import of sunflower seeds from Chili is forbidden starting from 13 December, and that of maize seeds from Turkey, France, and Hungary is forbidden from 16 December. The reason is quarantine objects found: phomopsis leaf and stem blight, leaf spot, and brown marmorated stink bug. The ban is based on law No. 206-FZ and International Plant Quarantine convention.
