RUSSIA AND IRAN STRENGTHEN COOPERATION IN AGRO-INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX

Minister of Agriculture Oksana Lut and the Minister of Agricultural Jihad of the Islamic Republic of Iran Gholamreza Nouri Ghezeljeh discussed the prospects for the development of cooperation in agro-industrial complex.
Agro-industrial complex holds an important place in the trade and economic relations of the two countries. Cooperation in this area is being actively extended during the last years.
Russia plays an important role in ensuring the food security of Iran. Russian exporters have proven to be reliable partners. The parties expressed their readiness to strengthen further cooperation and develop agricultural trade.
