RUSSIA BECOMES THE LARGEST FERTILIZERS EXPORTER TO GEORGIA AGAIN
25 April 2026 |
Last month, Russia became the key exporter of mineral fertilizers to the Georgian market in money terms again. In exact figures, the supplies of these products increased 5.5 times on February – from 562,900 dollars to 3.1 million dollars. The main part of this amount, 2.9 million dollars, is accounted for by complex fertilizers (NPK, i.e. those consisting of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium). Russia’s share of all fertilizers supplies to Georgia amounted to 49.1%. With this figure, Russia returned to leaders after February, when it was the second. Before that, RF was the top supplier of fertilizers to the Georgian market last year. Supply shares of other exporting countries mentioned turned out to be significantly smaller: 10.9% for Turkey and 6.4 for Spain.Source: https://rosng.ru/post/rossiya-vnov-stala-krupneyshim-eksporterom-udobreniy-v-gruziyu
