RUSSIA EXTENDS A RECORD IN THE EXPORTS OF READY-TO-EAT GRAIN PRODUCTS

Russia doubled its last record in monetary terms for the exports of ready-to-eat food products manufactured by grain puffing or roasting in January – September. In exact figures, foreign sales amounted to over $38 million during this period. Last figure of slightly more than 19 million was observed in 2021. Almost 15 thousand tonnes of products have been delivered by volume over the above-named 9 months. Kazakhstan which exported these grain products in the amount of about $14 million was the second after our country. Belarus was the third with more than 11.5 million. The group of ready-to-eat food products produced by grain puffing or roasting includes breakfast cereals, crispbreads, corn puffs, muesli, snacks, fruit and cereal bars, puffed rice, popcorn, and others.
