RUSSIA’S MOST POWERFUL TRACTOR PRESENTED

The Don manufacturer of agricultural machinery has presented the most powerful farm tractor in the country – Rostselmash 3580. Its capacity is 580 horsepower. It is equipped with the first Russian automatic transmission jointly developed by Rostselmash and N.E. Bauman Moscow State Technical University. The new tractor opens the 3000 series. It will include models of 440 to 580 horsepower. Such tractors are designed for different farm tasks including ploughing, harrowing, cultivating, sowing, shallow ploughing, disk harrowing, and others operations. The high-power tractors are most effective on farms with the areas of 2500 ha and more, which have pulses and row crops in their crop rotation.
