RUSSIA SETS A RECORD IN SOYBEAN FLOUR EXPORTS

Russia exported almost 8.5 thousand tonnes of fine and coarse soybean flour worth 4 million dollars last year. The export volume of Russian soybean flour hit an all-time high both in weight and in money. Earlier, maximum value was recorded in 2014 in physical terms – about 5 thousand tonnes worth 3.7 million dollars. In 2024, exports amounted to 3.2 thousand tonnes in the amount of about 1.8 million dollars. The volume of deliveries has grown 2.7 times in physical terms and 2.3 times in monetary terms over the last year. China was the top importer of soybean flour: more than 6 thousand tonnes were delivered there in the amount of 2.7 million dollars. Belarus also drew attention to itself with about 2.2 thousand tonnes worth 1.3 million dollars. Apart from this, Russia carried out deliveries to Serbia, Armenia, and Kazakhstan.
