RUSSIA TO INCREASE THE PRODUCTION OF FERTILIZERS BY 3–4% IN 2926

The growth of fertilizers production is expected to be by 3-4% in Russia next year in case the companies preserve their investment plans. The current ruble’s exchange rate and market conditions make it possible for companies to work properly and expand their deliveries. Ruble’s exchange rate and interest rates press fertilizers exporters, nevertheless, all the investment programs will be fulfilled. The forecast for the exports of Russian fertilizers is about 44 million tonnes for the current year. China, India, and Brazil remain the biggest markets for Russia. Russia was planning to increase the production of fertilizers to the historical record of 65 million tonnes in the current year. At the end of 10 months, Russian producers of mineral fertilizers exported 37.6 million tonnes of ready products, up 9% on the same period of last year. Earlier, it was expected that the figure might reach record 45 million tonnes by the end of the year.
