Siberian region exported 4.6 million tonnes of grain from July 2025 to March 2026. This is the highest result since records began (+67% on the same period of last year – 2.8 million tonnes), the analytical centre of Rusagrotrans point out. This is the highest growth rate of all the federal districts of Russia. The total exports of 2025/26 (July-June) from Siberia are estimated at 5.2 million tonnes of grain (plus 1.8 million tonnes by 2024/25). According to the Ministry of Agriculture of Novosibirsk Region, more than 2.6 million tonnes of agricultural products were exported from the region in 2025. The main export positions are: grain crops, oil crops, and pulses, which are accounted for by about 60% of the total exports. Growth has amounted to 26.6% in money terms and 18.6% in volume terms. The physical volume of supplies has increased by 408,200 tonnes. At the same time, about 400,000 tonnes of grain have not been sold by the middle of April 2026 in Novosibirsk Region. Agrarians talk of unfavourable purchasing prices and do not exclude the decrease of cultivated areas this year.Source: https://www.zol.ru/n/41285
