TATARSTAN TO INCREASE EXPORTS OF FAT-AND-OIL PRODUCTS

The region has shipped 342.3 thousand tonnes of fat-and-oil products to other countries in the amount of 250.6 million dollars since the beginning of 2024. The shipments have increased by 45.8 thousand tonnes compared to the last year which is by 16.1 million dollars in money terms. The biggest volume was accounted for by sunflower oil (179.8 million dollars). The export of mayonnaise and other sauces amounted to 38.1 million dollars, that of oilcakes was 15.9 million dollars, and that of rapeseed oil was 15.1 million dollars.
Tatarstan delivers fat-and-oil products to the Middle East and Transcaucasia, to Asia, as well as to African countries. The target countries are China, India, Iran, and the countries of the Customs Union.
