THE INTRODUCTION OF GENETIC PASSPORTS FOR PLANTS POSTPONED TO 2027

Ministry of Agriculture proposes to postpone the introduction of genetic passports for seeds for two years, from 1 September 2025 to 1 September 2027. The document will include their genotype, DNA markers, and molecular genetic analysis data. The postponement is connected with the necessity to prepare seed producers and government agencies to the new standard.
