THE NORTH CAUCASUS IS SECOND IN RUSSIA IN THE NUMBER OF AGRICULTURAL CLASSES

A new national project, Personnel in the Agro-Industrial Complex, started in Russia in 2025. Its main aim is to staff 95% of agro-industrial enterprises by 2030. One of the directions of the national project is creating agrotechnological classes at schools, where students of forms 7-11 study agricultural subjects in depth. About 18,000 specially equipped agroclasses are planned to be created in the country by 2030. In 2025, more than 1,000 agrotechnological classes with more than 16,000 school students were created in 67 regions as part of the federal project. In the meantime, the Central Federal District where 295 classes were created remains the leader in the number of agroclasses. The North Caucasian Federal District takes the second place with 219 agroclasses, 134 of them are situated in Stavropol Region. The Volga Federal District is the third, having 190 agroclasses.
