THE SHARE OF THE RUSSIAN VETERINARY DRUGS REACHES 72.6%

The share of the Russian veterinary drugs has reached 72.6%, while earlier it was about 30%, the head of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor) Sergei Dankvert reported during the meeting with the Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin. The head of the Cabinet of Ministers paid attention to the fact that interest to the Russian veterinary vaccines is growing all over the world, especially in CIS countries. He also noticed that effective checking system is extremely important in areas where Rosselkhoznadzor works. The reform of control and supervisory activity gives its results: the number of regulated facilities has been increased, at the same time the number of checks has become several-fold less, while their effectiveness has grown up by almost 87%. The use of artificial intelligence with digital risk indicators will enable Rosselkoznadzor to carry out online surveillance and form up to 80% materials automatically in 2026, the head of the service estimates.
