THE TOTAL CAPACITY OF THE TEN LARGEST GRAIN ELEVATOR OPERATORS IN RUSSIA IS ESTIMATED AT 56–58 MILLION TONS

This is approximately 35–36% of the total market capacity of 164 million tons. Most of the storage facilities are located in the Central, Southern, and Volga regions. According to Zerno Online, Rusagro remains the largest player, with 11.5 million tons (about 7% of the market). Euralis ranks second, with 8.2 million tons (mainly in the Southern and North Caucasus regions). On the third line is “RusGran” with 7.5 million tons (Central and Volga Federal Districts). The market is moving towards asset concentration. Large companies are buying up elevators and turning them into logistics centers connected to the railway and ports. At the same time, almost 60% of all capacity in the top 10 is concentrated in the South and the Center. In Siberia and the Far East, there is a shortage of modern storage facilities.
