AGRARIANS OF TATARSTAN HARVEST OVER 3.6 MILLION TONS OF GRAIN

Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan – the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov told about the results of the harvesting campaign during the press briefing.
98% of lands were threshed. 3 mln. 662 ths. tons of grain were harvested with the average yield of 25.8 metric centners per hectare. In 2022, the yield reached 36.9 metric centners/ha.
Over 150 ths. tons of cereals were harvested in Tetyushi district, Buinsk district, and Arsk district. Tetyushi district, Drozhzhanovsky district, Kukmor district, Kamsko-Ustyinsky district, and Kaibitsy district are the leaders in the yield of cereals.
The lowest yield was recorded in the eastern part of the republic where around 30 ths.ha of crops were affected. This is connected with spring frosts as well as summer heat and drought, Marat Zyabbarov noted.
