ALTAI AGRARIANS RECEIVE 2.5 BILLION RUBLES FROM THE FEDERAL BUDGET

According to Russia’s Ministry of Agriculture, 2,559.84 million rubles of subsidies were transferred to the agricultural producers of Altai Territory for the development of the agro-industrial complex and rural development, including 2,529.21 million rubles from the federal treasury and 30.63 million rubles from the regional one. In terms of the financing volume of the sector, Altai Territory is in the first place in Siberian Federal District. In particular, 1,033.68 million rubles of the federal funds and 10.44 million rubles of the region’s funds were transferred for the support of priority areas of the agro-industrial complex and the development of small enterprises (88.2% of the plan have been expended), 385.79 million rubles of the federal allotment and 3.9 million rubles of the regional one were transferred for the partial reimbursement of grain production and sale expenses (100%). 965.09 million rubles of the federal state support and 14.83 million rubles of the regional one were applied towards comprehensive rural development (74.3% of the plan).
