CREDITS TO FARMERS INCREASE BY 7.3% TO 36.8 BILLION RUBLES IN 2025

Rosselkhozbank provided peasant farm enterprises with 36.8 billion rubles in 2025, up 7.3% on 2024. According to the bank, the share of peasant farm enterprises in the structure of agricultural production has grown from 3.2% in 2000 to 14.3% in 2025. Farmers provide more than 40% of sunflower yield, about 30% of grain and pulse crops, about a quarter of soybean, rapeseed, and vegetables. More than 40% of sheep and goats are concentrated in peasant farm enterprises. Human resources development continues with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture by way of free learning in the Farmer’s School. The Ministry and Rosselkhozbank have been implementing this large scale free learning program for the current agrarians and the newcomers at the premises of the leading specialized institutes since 2020. 11 thousand people have already been trained in 83 regions of the country in 50 unique specialities over this time, including about 1.2 thousand people in the Volga Federal District.
