FAMILY BAKERIES TO RECEIVE SUPPORT

Starting from next year, Russia’s Ministry of Agriculture is planning to provide agrarians with a new type of support for opening family-type bakeries. It concerns grants and subsidies. The wide range of support is to motivate its recipients to monitor the quality and safety of their bread. The new measure will be a pilot one. If this mechanism proves to be successful, it is not excluded that it will be used on a continuous basis. Support for the SMO participants has also been announced. They will be provided with grants for farmer projects. 200 million rubles are budgeted for these purposes this year. 70 regions have submitted requests for 600 projects for the next year amounting to a total of 3 billion rubles.
