FARMERS IN THE OMSK REGION HAVE LAUNCHED A GRAIN-DRYING COMPLEX AS TALL AS A HOUSE
10 October 2026 |
A new grain drying and sorting complex has been launched at an agricultural enterprise in the Kolosovsky District of the Omsk Region. Standing as tall as a three-story building, the Russian-made unit is capable of processing up to 40 tons of grain per hour. The complex is designed to dry and sort the harvest, with both processes capable of running either simultaneously or independently. A gentler processing mode—with a capacity of up to 20 tons per hour—is available for industrial crops. The new equipment will enable the enterprise to reduce crop losses during storage. Previously, farmers had to perform some tasks manually, and high grain moisture levels posed a risk of spoilage. Thanks to the new unit, the farm will be able to store the harvested crop for longer periods without compromising quality. This will allow the grain to be sold not only immediately after the harvest but also in the spring, when demand for high-quality produce rises.Source: https://news.mail.ru/economics/72673734/
