FARMERS INCREASE SEED PURCHASE VOLUME FOR THE SPRING SOWING

According to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, the supply of seeds of the main agricultural crops for the coming sowing is at the level of 2023.  The supply of seeds is currently 92.6% for grain crops, 55.3% for fiber flax, 103% for soybean, 67.5% for spring rapeseed, 60% for field vegetables.
“By the start of the spring campaign, 100% provision of farmers with seeds will be achieved. At the same time, the focus will be on increasing the volume of sowing seeds of domestic selection”, the Ministry of Agriculture informed.
