In Primorye, 6,700 tons of seed potatoes were tested. In 2026, specialists from the Primorsky branch of the institution tested 6,700 tons of seed potatoes. According to the agency, the tested material meets the requirements of GOST. Seed potatoes in the Primorsky Territory were grown on an area of 2,260 hectares this year. In the summer, specialists from the Rosselkhoztsentr conducted an appraisal of the seed plots. In September, the crop harvesting began in the region; specialists are taking samples of the new harvest for tuber analysis. In 2026, varieties of domestic breeding were used in the region. Among the most popular are Kazachok, Meteor, and Krasa Meshchery. Specialists from the Primorsky branch of the Rosselkhoztsentr also tested 43.7 thousand tons of soybean seeds for sowing quality. The sown area of this crop in the region exceeds 250 thousand hectares. This year, 16 domestic soybean varieties were used in the region, including Briz, Monsoon, Primorskaya 4, Primorskaya 96, and Sfera. In addition, specialists conduct approbation of rice crops, check the seeds of early spring crops from the new harvest, and carry out phytosanitary examination of the seed material.
