MILK SALES VOLUME IN AGRICULTURAL ORGANISATIONS OF RUSSIA INCREASED BY 6.7%

According to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, the daily volume of milk sales by agricultural organizations amounts to 55.9 thousand tons which is 6.7% (3.5 thousand tons) more than that in the same period of 2022.The website of the establishment reports that the maximum sales volumes starting from 1.5 thousand tons were achieved in the Republic of Tatarstan, Udmurtian Republic, Krasnodar Territory, Voronezh, Kirov, Sverdlovsk, Leningrad, Novosibirsk, Nizhny Novgorod, and Belgorod Regions.
On average, one cow gives 21.5 kg of milk which is 1.5 kg more than a year earlier. Top performers in this indicator are the Republic of Crimea, St. Petersburg, Krasnodar Territory, Vladimir, Kaluga, Leningrad, Ryazan, Kursk, Lipetsk, and Kaliningrad Regions, where over 25 kilograms of milk per cow were obtained.
