MILK SALES VOLUME IN AGRICULTURAL ORGANIZATIONS GROWS BY 4.3%

This data is provided by the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia. As of September 11th, 2023 agricultural organizations sold 54.1 thousand tons of milk per day. It is 2.3 ths. tons more than in 2022.
Maximum sales volumes of 2 ths. tons and higher are registered in the Republic of Tatarstan, Udmurtian Republic, Krasnodar Territory, Voronezh Region, and Kirov Region.
The average daily milk yield per cow is 21 kg which is 0.9 kg more than in the previous year. St. Petersburg, Leningrad Region, Kursk Region, and Kaliningrad Region are the leaders in terms of this performance indicator where one cow accounts for more than 26 kg of milk per day.
