MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE TO START SELECTING ORGANIZATIONS TO CONCLUDE COMPETITIVENESS IMPROVEMENT AGREEMENTS FROM 15 MAY

The Ministry of Agriculture announced the beginning of selecting agricultural producers for concluding competitiveness improvement agreements. Acceptance of documents will start on 15 May 2026 and finish on 10 July. The selection concerns organizations and sole entrepreneurs that produce, process, and sell agricultural products. Both electronic and hard copies of the documents can be submitted. In 2025, the Ministry of Agriculture changed the conditions of selecting the participants of preferential crediting program as part of competitiveness improvement agreements. According to the order of the ministry dated 2 July 2025, the minimum volume of products required for receiving a short-term preferential credit was increased to 1.5 rubles of product per 1 ruble of the credit. Earlier, this indicator was 0.61 rubles. The program of competitiveness improvement agreements is in force since 2019. It is aimed at increasing the volume of agricultural production by means of preferential crediting.
