MUTUAL AGRICULTURAL TRADE BETWEEN RUSSIA AND KYRGYZSTAN GROWS BY 25%

A working meeting was held between the Russian Minister of Agriculture Oksana Lut and the Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of Kyrgyzstan Erlist Akunbekov. It was said during the meeting that the turnover of agricultural commodities between Russia and Kyrgyzstan had increased by 25% in 2025. So, for example, Russia increased the exports of sunflower oil, confectionery, sugar, poultry meat, and non-alcoholic beverages. Kyrgyzstan increased the supplies of beans, fruit, and berries. It is pointed out that the parties have a potential for the further expansion of mutual trade by means of increasing the exports of Russian mineral fertilizers and veterinary vaccines. Besides, there are prospects for cooperation in melioration, selection, and seed farming.
