PRICES TO CONTINUE TO BE STABILIZED

Russia’s Federal Antimonopoly Service proposes to prolong the possibility of concluding agreements on stabilizing prices between the regional authorities and economic entities. As of the current month, there are already price stabilization arrangements in 70 regions of the country among 13 098 trade organizations, 259 producers, 161 pharmacy chains, 63 wholesale organizations, and 3 petrol filling station chains. They explained there that this mechanism is aimed at improving the cost situation on the consumer market and increasing the availability of goods for people. There is a positive effect on price dynamics in the regions where such agreements are in force.
