PROTECTION OF FARMERS: NEW RULES AND LAWS STARTING FROM 2025

Farmers are in for a number of innovations starting from March 2025: obligatory chipping of all horses, introduction of VAT for breeding animals, increase of African swine fever control measures. Besides, special ‘bio’ and ‘eco’ marks will be introduced for certified products. These measures are aimed at improving quality control and food safety.
