8 July 2026 |
Russia increased wheat exports by 13.7% to 48 million tonnes of wheat in 2025-2026 agricultural year from 42.2 million tonnes in the previous season, according to Rusagrotrans’s analytical centre. The largest buyers of the Russian wheat are: Egypt (9.7 million tonnes), Turkey (7.4 million tonnes), Sudan (2.3 million tonnes), Saudi Arabia (2 million tonnes), and Kenya (1.9 million tonnes). Experts estimate the growth of wheat export at 2.3 million tonnes in June, up 1.36 million tonnes on June 2025. It can be moderate in July, the first month of 2026-2027 season, due to the shift in the harvesting campaign compared to average annual levels – about 1.9-2.2 million tonnes, while it was 1.86 million tonnes a year ago. Export price for the Russian wheat with 12.5% of protein for delivery in July decreased by 1 dollar per tonne compared to the previous week. At the same time, American wheat grew in price by 16 dollars, the French one increased by 1 dollar, and Ukrainian wheat became cheaper by 3 dollars, just like Argentinean wheat – by 5 dollars per tonne.Source: https://agroexpert.press/zerno/rf-uvelichila-eksport-psheniczy-na-14-ozhidaetsya-rost-do-koncza-sezona/
