RUSSIA’S GRAIN HARVEST-2023 SEEN AT 135 MLN TONS

As the First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Agrarian Issues, the President of Russian Association of Rural and Farm Enterprises and Agricultural Cooperatives Vladimir Plotnikov believes, this volume can be achieved despite difficult weather conditions in the south of the country. This is possible due to the good work of farmers and state support aimed at the development of agriculture in Russia.
Last year, Russia made a new gross grain yield record. Totally, 157.676 mln. tons were harvested. It is 29.9% more than in 2021.
